I'm quite late on posting our Easter pictures. We had a really nice Easter. Chad had to work and didn't get home until around 2:30. The kids refused their baskets or anything resembling Easter celebrating until he got home. They requested to do school, so we did! Lol! I made them pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream with hot tea for breakfast and we started our normal school day. Kait came over when Chad got home and we finally were able to give them their baskets after a lunch of shells and cheese. :)
After baskets were given and some fun and snacking were done, we headed outside to dye eggs. I had this great idea to try a new way to dye eggs I found on Pinterest. It turns out, scooping whipped cream into muffins tins, adding dye and rolling eggs around in it makes more of a mess than one can imagine. The kids were a little grossed out but they were good sports!
After some outdoor play, we had our usual Easter dinner of grilled pork chops, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, green beans, shells and cheese and strawberry shortcake for dessert. It was a sweet family day!
